The FLIR PV78 has been specially developed for the planning, installation and maintenance of solar systems. It enables precise and immediate measurements of solar irradiance (irradiance in watts per square meter) as specified in IEC standard 62446-1 for the electrical safety of photovoltaic systems.
For temperature measurement, the device can be placed directly on a solar panel or alternatively operated with an external sensor for continuous measurements. Integrated additional functions such as a digital compass to determine the orientation and a tilt measurement to record the roof or module angle help you to analyze optimal installation conditions.
Thanks to the Bluetooth-supported FLIR Meterlink technology, all measurement data can be seamlessly connected to the Meterlink app on a mobile device. This allows you to capture and document results directly on site and share them efficiently with your team.
