Debugging and validating high-speed designs, mask testing, serial protocol triggering and analysis, advanced jitter analysis, or serial bus compliance testing: with the 6 B Series Mixed Signal Oscilloscope you are ready for today's and tomorrow's measurement applications - with an expandable bandwidth from 1 to 10 GHz, versatile and precise measurement functions and a sampling rate of 50 GSa/s.

The Tektronix MSO64B oscilloscope with FlexChannel technology optimizes system visibility for complex signals in verification and debugging processes. The 4 FlexChannel inputs each offer one analog signal input or eight digital logic inputs (with optional logic probe). This means that up to 32 digital channels can be implemented flexibly. An analog signal can be displayed as a curve or as a frequency spectrum - both views can also be displayed simultaneously. This makes oscilloscope-based analysis in the frequency domain as easy as with a spectrum analyzer, while the time reference to other signal events is maintained.

The digital channels have the same high real-time sampling rate of up to 50 GSa/s for high-precision timing resolutions and the same long recording length (up to 1 G points) for long-term recordings as the analog channels. The extra-large 15.6-inch color display with touch function and full HD resolution allows you to clearly display many signals and analyses simultaneously.

Digital voltmeter, arbitrary function generator and power analysis:

The MSO64 oscilloscope offers an integrated 4-digit digital voltmeter (DVM) and an 8-digit frequency counter. Each of the analog inputs can serve as a source for the voltmeter. The same probes are used for this as for the oscilloscope. The MSO 6 B series also has an optional, integrated arbitrary function generator (AFG), which is ideal for simulating sensor signals or generating noise signals when carrying out limit tests. The signal generator enables the output of predefined signals up to 50 MHz and offers a 128,000-point record for loading signals from an internally stored file or a USB storage device. The optional power analysis package enables fast and reproducible analyses, among others. of power quality, harmonics, switching loss, modulation, ripple as well as efficiency, amplitude or time measurements.

Triggering and analysis of serial protocols:

The 6 B Series Mixed Signal Oscilloscope optionally offers a comprehensive set of reliable tools for common serial buses such as I2C, SPI, RS-232/422/485/UART, CAN, CAN FD, LIN, FlexRay, SENT, PSI-5, 100BASE-T, USB LS/FS/HS, Ethernet 100/1000BASE-T1 and MIL-STD-1553, Spacewire and ARINC 429. Parallel buses are also supported by the MSO64 (as standard). With serial protocol triggering you can trigger on specific packet contents, e.g. start of packet, specific address, unique identifiers or errors. The bus signal is time correlated to all other displayed signals, making it easy to determine the timing relationships between the different parts of the system under test. Decoding tables provide a tabular view of all decoded packets from an acquisition.
