The Sefram DAS1800-SYNC data logger is equipped with a GPS-IRIG receiver to record synchronous time stamps along with the measurement data.
The benefit of GPS and IRIG time code is precise, synchronized time measurement across multiple systems and locations to accurately correlate data. GPS provides the highly accurate time reference (often atomic), and IRIG time code is the standard format in which this time information is sent as a serial data stream to synchronize devices in areas such as energy, defense, aerospace and telecommunications.
The DAS1820 is a portable, high-speed data acquisition system with a compact dual-slot chassis, designed for precise and flexible measurement tasks in development, validation, process monitoring, and energy technology. The system utilizes the same modular concept as the larger DAS1800 platform, offering high configuration flexibility and plug-and-play functionality without factory recalibration when changing modules.
General features include a 12-inch HD touchscreen with multi-touch operation, an internal 500 GB SSD, up to 16 analog inputs with the multiplex module, 16 digital input channels, and interfaces such as USB 3.0 and Gigabit LAN. The DAS1820 supports real-time scripting for scaling, linearization, and multi-channel calculations, various trigger and synchronization functions, and integrated power analysis for DC, single-phase, and three-phase networks at 50 Hz, 60 Hz, and 400 Hz. Optional battery operation with up to 4 hours of runtime and synchronization via IRIG, GPS, and PTP are available. The product is particularly suitable for monitoring and verifying energy systems, process and plant monitoring, and product validation and verification. The various measurement modules allow for the acquisition of both highly dynamic signals with up to 1 MSa/s per channel and slow temperature, voltage, or resistance waveforms. This makes the DAS1820 a powerful solution for versatile measurement and analysis tasks, both in the laboratory and in mobile field applications.
