The Rohde & Schwarz ESRP EMC test receiver was developed for diagnostic measurements during development and for pre-conformity measurements to prepare products for the final certification test. It measures electromagnetic interference in the frequency range from 10 Hz to 7 GHz using either a conventional step frequency scan or an FFT-based time-domain scan, a method that speeds up measurements considerably. At the same time, the Rohde & Schwarz ESRP is a powerful signal and spectrum analyzer with a full range of functions for laboratory applications. The Rohde & Schwarz ESRP has a clear menu structure which, in combination with the intuitive touchscreen, makes the test receiver very easy to use in any mode.
The ESRP EMV / EMI test receiver from Rohde & Schwarz uses an FFT-based time-domain scan to perform EMC measurements, which is done in a fraction of the time instead of hours as before. This saves time and money in product development and in preparing the product for final certification. An optional pre-selection function prevents overloading of the front end and ensures reproducible results. To make it easier for users to analyze interference signals, the Rohde & Schwarz ESRP has proven functions such as IF analysis to display the spectrum around interference signals or the spectrogram display in analyzer mode. The clear menu structure makes it easier to navigate to a desired function or setting.
The compact and robust ESRP can optionally also be operated with a battery and are therefore also suitable for field use. Operation is via the intuitive touchscreen user interface with undo and recovery functions. The integrated online help supports you with questions or problems. Of course, the R&S ESRP can be controlled remotely via GPIB or LAN.
