Description

893-500-010 SKID-M PCB holder

SKID is a unique platform that meets a wide variety of testing and debugging requirements. The system allows for a modular structure so that every user can adapt it flexibly to their application. The frame offers a clamping device that can accommodate cards up to 240 x 160 mm in size. This corresponds to the standard form factor 6U. Smaller boards can of course also be tensioned. The spacers - PCBA Spacers - are positioned so that many geometric shapes can be tested.

After clamping, the circuit board is fixed about 10 mm above the frame. This ensures better access to the test object and simplifies handling. SKID has 90 mm long legs, which makes it possible to contact the test object simultaneously from above and below. Standard M6 threads can be found distributed around the frame to mount probes, lamps, magnifying glasses or other equipment. Depending on the configuration, SKID can be used for environmental tests in climate test chambers for temperatures from -55 to + 150 ° C.
