The NI USB-8452 is a master interface for interfacing and communicating with I2C and SPI devices. Thanks to its plug-and-play functionality, the USB-8452 interface is a bus-powered, portable solution for communication with consumer electronics and integrated circuits. It has eight universal digital I/O channels that can be used for a variety of applications, such as configuring I2C device addresses and switching LEDs on and off. The USB-8452 interface can be physically closer to the I2C/SPI devices than the PCI interface, as this reduces I2C bus length and noise issues. In addition, the interface provides +5 V and a ground connection to power circuits without an additional power supply.
