The NI 9232 analog input module, which can be used in CompactDAQ and CompactRIO hardware, is suitable for industrial measurements with IEPE (Integrated Electronic Piezoelectric) and non-IEPE sensors such as accelerometers, tachometers and proximity probes. The module is also compatible with intelligent TEDS sensors (Transducer electronic datasheet). It enables software-selectable AC/DC coupling, IEPE signal conditioning and the detection of short circuits/blank circuits. Signals are measured simultaneously on the input channels. All channels also have anti-aliasing filters that are automatically adjusted to the sample rate. When used with National Instruments software, this module provides condition monitoring processing functions such as frequency and order analysis.
