The cDAQ-SV1100 product bundle combines the powerful NI-9231 Sound and Vibration Measurement Module with the versatile cDAQ‑9171 CompactDAQ-USB chassis. This solution provides a reliable and flexible platform for sound and vibration measurement applications, from audio test suites to machine condition monitoring.
The NI-9231 is a high-performance module designed for high-channel density sound and vibration signal acquisition. It supports a wide range of sensors, including IEPE and non-IEPE sensors such as accelerometers, tachometers, and proximity probes. With a wide dynamic range, it is ideal for modern measurement microphones and accelerometers and enables simultaneous measurements. The module features a TEDS input path and a 2 mA IEPE excitation source that can be turned on and off to optimize sensor usage and simplify data acquisition system setup.
NI-9231 features:
The cDAQ‑9171 is a rugged and portable CompactDAQ USB chassis that enables seamless integration of USB-enabled sensors and electrical measurements. It accommodates a variety of hot-swappable C-Series I/O modules and features four integrated 32-bit counter/timers for additional functionality. The chassis offers simple plug-and-play functionality and controls timing, synchronization, and data transfer between the modules and the host computer.
