784121-01 | PXIe-8510, hardware selectable NI-XNET interface, 2 ports

The PXIe ‑ 8510 is a hardware selectable CAN and / or LIN interface for application development with the NI ‑ XNET driver. The PXIe ‑ 8510 is optimized for applications that require hundreds of CAN frames and signals to be manipulated in real time and at high speed, including hardware-in-the-loop simulation (HIL), rapid control prototyping, bus monitoring, and automation control . With the NI ‑ XNET DMA engine, the device's own processor can exchange CAN frames and signals between interfaces and user programs without causing CPU interrupts. This reduces message latency and leaves processor time free for processing complex models and applications.
