The NI (National Instruments) myRIO‑1950 with reconfigurable I/O is used to implement various design concepts in the classroom. The device has eight analog inputs, four analog outputs, 32 digital I/O lines, LEDs, a button, an integrated accelerometer, a Xilinx FPGA and a dual-core Cortex-A9 processor from ARM. The myRIO‑1950 can be programmed with LabVIEW or C. The open design enables easy installation and integration into embedded applications that require high processing power.
