779975-01 | NI USB-6509, digital I/O module with 96 channels, 5 V/TTL/CMOS
The USB-6509 is an industrial-grade, bus-powered USB module that can directly power external digital devices such as solid state relays. Each port can be individually configured as an input or output, with the outputs requiring no external power supply.
Programmable power-on states allow users to configure digital I/O states on the software side to ensure trouble-free and safe operation even when industrial actuators such as pumps, valves, motors or relays are connected. Should a computer or application error occur, digital I/O watchdogs on the USB-6509 ensure the transition to a configurable safe output status to detect malfunctions and enable the safe recovery of the system. Programmable input filters are used to remove interference pulses and signal peaks as well as to debounce digital switches and relays using software-adjustable digital filters.
