The PCI-6519 module is an industrial-grade digital I/O interface with two banks of optically isolated channels. The interface is particularly suitable for industrial control, regulation and production testing applications. The PCI-6519 module is an industrial-grade digital I/O interface with eight banks of isolated channels. Each input bank can be configured as current supplying or current sinking. Using programmable switch-on states, users can configure digital I/O states in software to ensure safe operation when industrial actuators are connected. Should a computer or application error occur, PCI-6519 digital I/O watchdogs transition to a configurable secured output state to detect malfunctions and enable safe system recovery.
