The Fluke MicroScanner series cable testers enable communication technicians to perform installations quickly and reliably without risking complaints. Every aspect of the review task is streamlined. From the time-saving user interface and integrated multimedia support to advanced service recognition - MicroScanner2 and MicroScanner PoE offer the full scope to carry out your tasks quickly, reliably and better than ever before.

Often, many potential cabling or service problems must be eliminated before the root cause of a connection problem can be determined. MicroScanner2 and MicroScanner PoE offers technicians the opportunity to verify today's most common voice, data and video services.

The large monochrome LC display with backlight shows you all important test results clearly on one screen: wiring, pair lengths, distances to the fault location, cable ID and the end devices at the other end of the cable.

The MicroScanner series is equipped with the digital and analogue IntelliTone toner, with which almost all cables or wire pairs can be located precisely, regardless of the application environment. In digital mode, high-quality data cables (Cat 5e / 6 / 6A) can be located in cable bundles or on switches, patch panels or wall boxes. Or use the analog mode for voice cabling (Cat. 3 and lower) as well as coaxial cable (MicroScanner2 only), security / alarm and speaker cables.
