This seminar builds on the introductory seminar (Seminar S01) and is specifically designed to demonstrate the step-by-step process for conducting a risk assessment using the GEPI tool. How do you determine the type of inspection, scope of inspection, and inspection interval within your company? With the publication of the 2015 amendment to the Industrial Safety Regulation, the preparation of a risk assessment to determine inspection intervals has become even more critical. Precise framework parameters must be observed in this process. Other regulations and standards, such as VDE regulations and DGUV Regulation 3, also require a risk-based determination of inspection intervals, which must be documented in an appropriate manner.

Objective:
To acquire the knowledge to create risk assessments regarding the determination of the type, scope, and frequency of testing for portable electrical equipment in accordance with the German Ordinance on Industrial Safety and Health (Betriebssicherheitsverordnung) and other regulations. Structure and documentation options for a risk assessment using the Gepi tool.

Completion:
You will receive a certificate of attendance with a detailed list of the seminar content covered as proof of expertise.
Prerequisites:
This seminar requires prior completion of the basic seminar S01 or comparable knowledge. According to Section 3 of the Industrial Safety Ordinance, a "competent person" is required to prepare a risk assessment. The necessary knowledge can be acquired in the optionally available seminar R15.
