Introductory seminar on the safe and standards-compliant testing of hospital and nursing beds.

The Medical Devices Act Implementation Act, the Medical Devices Operator Ordinance, and DGUV Regulation 3 require the testing of medical devices. Here, too, according to EN 62353 (VDE 0751-1), the Technical Rules for Operational Safety TRBS 1201 and TRBS 1203 “Persons Qualified to Perform Inspections” must be observed; failure to do so may result in serious legal consequences. The seminar provides the necessary electrical engineering expertise and skills for testing hospital and nursing beds in accordance with EN 62353 (VDE 0751-1), including the mechanical tests required here.

Objective:

Target group:

Electrical specialists, persons authorized to perform tests (electrical engineering), testers

Completion:

You will receive a certificate (upon successful completion of the learning assessment) or a certificate of attendance with a detailed list of the seminar content covered as proof of expertise.

Prerequisites:

Prerequisites for this seminar are prior attendance at a basic measurement seminar or comparable knowledge. The appointment of a "Competent Person for Testing" according to TRBS 1203 is the responsibility of the employer or their appointed technical support (VEFK).
