Intensive seminar on standards-compliant and safe testing of power generators (SEA).

Power generators place very high demands on the skills of qualified personnel when testing electrical safety. With the introduction of inverter-based SEA in traditional application areas such as construction sites, utility services, and vehicles, the previously widespread safety concepts are being virtually “turned upside down.” Learn from the instructor how to distinguish between the various regulatory requirements you need to observe, and discuss with other participants the problems that arise in everyday practice.

Course Content:

  • Legal Basis
    • Operational Safety Ordinance
    • DGUV Regulation 3
    • DGUV Information 203-032
  • Protective measures for rotating power generators and static converters according to VDE 0100-410 and VDE 0100-551
  • Requirements for measuring equipment
  • Test procedures according to VDE 0100-600, VDE 0113-1, VDE 0105-100/A1, DIN EN ISO 8528-13, DIN 14685 ff, DIN 6280-10
  • Operating concepts for power generators (grounding, PRCD-K, use of battery buffers)

Objective:

Standard-compliant and safe testing of power generators (SEA).

Target group:

Qualified electricians, persons authorized to perform tests (electrical engineering)

Completion:

You will receive a certificate (upon successful completion of the learning assessment) or a certificate of attendance with a detailed list of the seminar content covered as proof of expertise.

Prerequisites:

A prerequisite for this seminar is prior attendance at a measurement seminar or comparable training. Knowledge.
