In this measurement seminar, we place great emphasis on participants performing the standardized measurement steps themselves using various testing devices. Through intensive practical training, participants learn how to use the testing equipment and how to evaluate the measured values. A PV system simulator is available, where all measurements are clearly explained and where participants can practice the measurements. This provides a high degree of confidence when carrying out subsequent testing activities.

  • Operation of test equipment (PV tester according to VDE 0100)
  • Tests of the DC side Category 1, among others.
    • Continuity of the earthing and/or equipotential bonding conductors
    • Polarity test
    • Testing of generator connection boxes
    • Testing of the phase open-circuit voltage
    • Current test of the phase circuit
    • Measuring the insulation resistances

  • Testing obligations according to the German Ordinance on Industrial Safety and Health (BetrSichV), the German Workplace Ordinance (ArbStättV) and DGUV Regulation 3
  • Requirements for testing and measuring equipment
  • Documentation of tests
  • Testing requirements according to VDE 0100-600, VDE 0105-100 and VDE 0126-23-1
  • Inspection and testing of systems
  • Measuring and evaluating as well as functional tests in systems
  • System documentation and required documents
  • Expert knowledge for the Testers
  • Repeat tests on the AC side
    • Continuity of protective conductors and PA conductors
    • Measurement of insulation resistances
    • Measurement of fault loop impedance
    • Functional tests

Objective:

Tests of photovoltaic systems must be carried out by a qualified electrician who is authorized to perform tests (see VDE 0100-600 (6.4.1.6)). A qualified electrician is generally defined by the knowledge they have acquired through their vocational training, professional experience, and recent professional activity, as well as specific knowledge for testing PV systems.

This measurement seminar provides the necessary knowledge for testing photovoltaic systems according to the The standards VDE 0100-600 (initial inspection) and VDE 0105-100 (periodic inspection) as well as the specific knowledge for PV system testing according to VDE 0126-23-1 are acquired.

Target group:

Qualified electricians, qualified electricians who are authorized to carry out inspections.

Certification:

As proof of expertise, each participant receives a certificate with a detailed list of the seminar content covered in digital form.

Prerequisites:

Prerequisites for participation in this seminar are prior attendance at a measurement seminar for testing electrical systems and attendance at a basic PV system seminar or comparable knowledge in these areas.
