The HF current transformer measures high-frequency currents on lines of the test object. A metallic base plate is required as a reference surface for reproducible measurements. This creates a small-scale measurement setup on the developer's workstation, which makes it possible to quickly determine the effect of EMC measures.

The HFW 21 enables the separate measurement of common mode and differential mode currents.
