The Keysight FieldFox B series combines cable & antenna tester (CAT), vector network analyzer (VNA) and spectrum analyzer (SA) in one robust, battery-operated handheld device. The analyzers are designed for field use: shockproof, dustproof and splashproof, with a large display that is easy to read in sunlight, large buttons (can also be operated with gloves) and a field-swappable battery for several hours of measurement operation. Thanks to CalReady, the device is ready to measure as soon as it is switched on; optional ECal modules speed up precise calibrations. Software options such as Real-Time Spectrum Analysis (RTSA) up to 120 MHz, IQ Analyzer/Streaming, Noise Figure, Pulse Measurements, EMF/EMI and OTA Measurements (LTE/5G NR) are available for demanding applications. Typical applications include installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of mobile radio, SAT, radar, broadcast, WLAN and industrial RF systems - from cable termination to filters/amplifiers and over-the-air analysis.
The N9936B is part of the N993xB series within the FieldFox B family and is designed as a pure spectrum analyzer for demanding RF and microwave measurements up to 14 GHz. It combines the high sensitivity and dynamics of a laboratory device with the robustness and mobility of a field analyzer. The frequency range from 9 kHz to 14 GHz makes the N9936B ideal for applications in mobile networks, radar troubleshooting, satellite communications and RF component testing. Compared to higher-end models such as the N9937B (18 GHz) or N9938B (26.5 GHz), the N9936B offers a balance of bandwidth, weight and price-performance - the optimal choice for users who require precise and mobile RF spectrum analysis. Like all models in the series, it supports options such as RTSA, noise figure, OTA analysis and pulse measurements and offers maximum flexibility through software upgrades.
The spectrum analyzer is an indispensable piece of measuring equipment in development, production or quality assurance. ...
