The Keysight N5173B EXG is a versatile and cost-effective analog microwave signal generator for precise and efficient testing of microwave components and receivers. It provides signals for parametric testing of wideband filters, amplifiers, receivers and other components and enables LO up conversions for microwave backhaul links or CW blocking for receiver testing.
Depending on the option selected, the frequency ranges are covered from 9 kHz to 13, 20, 31.8 or 40 GHz.
Characterize components with the perfect combination of output power (+20 dBm at 20 GHz), low harmonics (≤ -55 dBc) and full-step attenuation. Frequency changes occur in 600-µs for optimal test throughput speed. The standard high-performance OCXO with an aging rate of 5x10-10 parts/day serves as a highly stable system reference.
