FG33531A | ARB function generator, 1 channel, 100 MHz

The Smart Bench Essentials Plus FG33530 series from Keysight is a family of high-performance function and arbitrary waveform generators with a bandwidth of up to 100 MHz. It is aimed at developers, test technicians and engineers who require precise and flexible signal sources for research, development, testing and validation of electronic circuits.

The devices in this series offer functions such as modulation (AM, FM, PM, FSK, BPSK, PWM), frequency sweep, burst modes and a comprehensive library of predefined and user-defined waveforms. Thanks to the Trueform technology, the generators produce very accurate and distortion-free signals with a resolution of 16 bits and a sample rate of up to 320 MSa/s.

The devices are equipped with an intuitive user interface on a 7-inch color display and support USB and LAN connectivity including SCPI commands and remote control via the PathWave BenchVue software. Ideally suited for laboratory applications, research and teaching, measurement technology as well as development and production.

The FG33531A is the single-channel version of the series. It offers the same functions as its two-channel sister model (FG33532A), but with a single output channel. This makes the FG33531A particularly suitable for applications where only one output signal is required - for example for simple stimulation tasks, testing individual signal paths or for signal generation in cost-sensitive projects.

Compared to the FG33532A (2-channel model), the FG33531A does not have dual signal outputs, which means that functions such as differential signal modulation, cross-channel synchronization or multi-channel summation are no longer required. In return, it offers the same performance with easier handling and reduced space and cost requirements.
