The Keysight Arbitrary USB function generator is characterized by the Direct Digital Synthesis (DDS) technology. This provides high-precision and stable signals up to a frequency of 20 MHz for every application. All common signal forms and modulation types are supported. Arbitrary signals are up to a size of 64k points and max. 50 MSa / s spent. Using the PC software Keysight Measurement Manager AMM included in the scope of delivery, the settings of the U2761A are carried out simply and intuitively. Arbitrary waveforms can be created here quickly and without programming knowledge. The U2761A is supported by the well-known programming languages such as Keysight VEE; Microsoft® Visual Studio.NET; LabVIEW TM ; MATLAB®, ... supported. Command lines for VEE, VB, C ++ and C # can be generated quickly and easily using the Command Logger function. A USB 2.0 high speed interface is used to connect to the PC. The small design, the USB connection and the extensive functions make the U2761A function generator a universal instrument. As a table-top device or for mobile applications, the user has a very high degree of flexibility, regardless of whether training, production, service or development.

It is possible to install the U2761A together with other Keysight USB instruments in the USB module carrier unit U2781A. This creates a universal test system that can be configured individually for each task.
