6517B | Electrometer / High Resistance Meter for high resistances / low currents of the 6500 series

The Keithley 6517B Electrometer is the worldwide standard for sensitive measurements in the research laboratory. The 5½-digit electrometer / high resistance meter offers a sensitivity of 1 fA , 10 PΩ input impedance for voltage measurements and charge measurements down to 10 fC .

The 6517B is characterized by its extremely low noise . This ensures the most exact measurements of the extremely low currents, as they are necessary in device and material research.

The Keithly High Resistance Meter enables resistance measurements up to 10 16 Ω . This is especially important with high resistance materials and insulators.

The 6517B has an integrated ± 1 kV voltage source with sweep function . This makes it easy to conduct leakage, breakdown, and resistance tests, as well as volume resistivity (Ω-cm) and surface resistivity (Ω / square) measurements on high resistance materials.

The high measurement speed , even with signals with a low level, enables you to test low-level components more quickly.

The 6517B also has programmable digital I / O and integrated interfaces , which enables you to set up automatic component systems.

All of these services are integrated in one device that works as easily as a digital multimeter.
