With the AC power meter GPM-8213, GW Instek offers an efficient solution for precise voltage, current and power measurement in various areas. With a total of 19 measurement parameters for standard applications and integral functions, inter alia inrush currents, power consumption, harmonics and voltage fluctuations can be determined, for example when checking electrical drives, network quality or network feedback.
The GPM-8213 performance tester is a reliable support tool for standby power measurements in accordance with IEC 62301 / EN 50564. For this it offers a frequency range from 0 to 6 kHz, a resolution of the current or the power of 0.1 µA and 1 mW, a crest factor of 3 for "distorted" curves (or CF = 6 for half the measuring range) and the analysis function of the harmonics up to at least the 13th harmonic (THD).
For measurement applications with higher voltages and currents, the division ratio can be set on the GPM-8213 when operating with a transformer.
The clear TFT display allows two different display modes, so that the essential parameters can be optimally read and understood depending on the measurement application: The "simple display" shows four fundamental measurement parameters to meet the special requirements regarding measurement accuracy and clarity during the production process. The extended "standard mode" represents the two main measurement parameters of interest as well as six subordinate measurement values to complete the measurement results and thus fulfills the special test requirements in the areas of research and development, design or quality control.
