The M249D enables power and energy measurement on DC systems and systems with currents up to 1250A. Through simultaneous TRMS measurement of current and voltage, AC, AC + DC or DC, with 60,000 digits resolution, it precisely determines all important performance parameters. The M249D records, for example, the energy consumption of electrical devices, white goods, e.g. refrigerators, and also modern devices in the entertainment industry such as smartphones, TV sets or personal computers. The DC Power Set includes a current sensor and a measuring shunt, with which the power measurement on DC systems, eg photovoltaic systems with DC currents, is made possible.
