The FLUKE Networks MultiFiber Pro Optical Power Meter & Source fiber optic tester certifies MPO fiber optic cables without the use of fanout cables. This single-mode and multimode MPO fiber test kit removes the complexity of polarity problems and makes it easier to test cartridges in the field. Whether it is about using 10 Gbps pre-assembled fiber bundles or planning for the 40/100 Gbps performance of the next generation - data centers are currently standardizing their solutions for MPO connectors. Traditional data center fiber optic installation means time consuming, manual, and inaccurate MPO testing. The MultiFiber Pro optical power meter is 90 percent faster than the single fiber certification method because it measures power loss and checks polarity in 12 fibers in a single connector - reducing testing time from weeks to days.

The optical power meter FLUKE Networks MultiFiber Pro is available in different versions and test kits. The MultiFiber Pro 1310 nm & 1550 nm Singlemode Kit MFTK-SM1310-SM1550 contains the MultiFiber Pro power meter, 850 nm light source, 1310 nm test cable, MPO adapter, magnetic tape attachments and transport bag.
