FMC-10G | LinkIQ 10/1G Fiber Optic Media Converter Kit

Use the Fluke Networks Fiber Media Converter (FMC) to trace and debug fiber port connections by identifying application, switch name, port name and VLAN, and verify connectivity via IP ping. The FMC includes media converters, SFPs, fiber optic cables and RJ45 cables to connect to any LinkIQ tester to troubleshoot network connectivity.

When testing a connection via the FMC, the "Network" test provides results that tell you if you have an Ethernet connection to the device on the other end (typically a switch) and if you can send IP traffic to destinations on the other end.

The model FMC-10G presented here is the 10G fiber media converter kit and includes 10 Gb/s and 1 Gb/s fiber media converters, a power bank, a cable to charge the bank and power the converters, SFPs (1000BASE-LX, 1000BASE-SX, 10GBASE-LR, 10GBASE-SR), singlemode and multimode fiber cables, an RJ-45 cable and a carrying case.
