CIQ-100 | CableIQ network cable tester main unit with carrying case and remote adapter

The Fluke Networks CableIQ Qualification Tester is the first Ethernet network cable tester even for novice network technicians: Quickly understand what speeds your existing cabling supports, quickly distinguish cabling from network problems, and determine what's at the far end of the cable. This means: network technicians can process problem reports faster, require less time per call and save money through more effective use of the existing infrastructure.

CableIQ Qualification Tester's powerful network troubleshooting and intuitive user interface enable field technicians to identify and diagnose a broader range of network infrastructure problems. Is the port active? Do the duplex settings match? Is it the network or the Ethernet cabling? Does the Ethernet cable support the required network bandwidth? The CableIQ Ethernet network analyzer is the only tool that can answer all of these questions without escalating problem reports to the next instance - a whopping 30% fewer escalated problems.

  • Works with live networks to provide Ethernet switch discovery and device configuration
  • Measure network capacity (10MB, 100MB, 1GB) to determine VoIP, data and video support
  • Advanced Troubleshooter Diagnostics; Insertion loss, cross talk, noise problems
  • basic troubleshooting functions; Length, distance to fault, graphical wiring checks, opens, shorts, Power-over-Ethernet (POE) acquisition
  • Tests all copper cabling: twisted pair, coax and audio
  • Locating and tracing cables using digital signaling technology. Requires IntelliTone200 Digital Probe (included in CIQ-KIT)
  • Qualifies and troubleshoots Industrial Ethernet cabling
