HART-specific functions:

  • Fast transmission of calibration data. With the 709H/Track software, the parameters of all HART transmitters can be documented during operation, either in .csv or .txt format.
  • Data logging or data recording on a specific transmitter for troubleshooting purposes. Data logging can be set to different logging intervals from 1 to 60 seconds and a log size of 9,800 records or 99 individual sessions. Each recorded data set contains the measured value determined by the 709H, all four process variables and the standard status conditions.

    • In communication mode, the user can read basic information from the instrument, perform diagnostic tests and adjust and calibrate almost all HART-capable transmitters. Previously, this could only be done with a special communicator, an expensive multifunction calibrator or a computer with a HART modem. With the Fluke 709H, almost any technician can maintain and calibrate HART instruments.

The Fluke 709H current loop calibrator saves time and delivers high quality results. It enables HART communication and supports a selected set of universal and common practice HART commands. This is what makes the 709H so unique, both as an affordable, compact current loop calibrator and as a powerful tool for HART communication.
