The Fluke ii915 sonic camera is an advanced device for the efficient detection, localization and quantification of gas and vacuum leaks. It is part of the new generation of Fluke sonic cameras and offers innovative features that significantly simplify inspection processes in industrial environments. With its LeakQ technology and other sophisticated functions, it enables precise analysis of leaks and thus makes a decisive contribution to the optimization of maintenance processes and cost savings.

Product features of the Fluke ii915:

  • Frequency range: 2 to 100 kHz
  • Detection range: Up to 120 meters
  • Resolution of the view camera: 5 megapixels
  • Battery life: 6 hours
  • Memory: 32 GB
  • LeakQ technology: This function analyzes the size of leaks in real time and provides an estimate of the leak rate and the resulting costs. In addition, the severity index (1-10) helps to prioritize the leaks to be repaired.
  • SoundMap overlay: A 7-inch LCD touchscreen displays an acoustic map as an overlay on visual images, making it easier to locate leaks accurately.
  • Tripod mount: For stable and precise measurements at greater distances.
  • WLAN connectivity: Enables automatic upload of recordings to the Fluke Connect Desktop via the cloud for seamless data analysis and reporting.

The Fluke ii915 is the flagship of the series and offers you the full range of functions and highest performance; including MecQ and PDQ mode. The ii905 does not have these modes and has a lower frequency coverage in comparison. The Fluke ii500 is the entry-level model and accordingly has fewer functions and a lower performance range. Some of the main differences between the models are:

  • Frequency range: The ii915 covers a frequency range of 2 to 100 kHz, while the ii500 only goes up to 52 kHz and the ii905 up to 65 kHz. This extended frequency range allows the ii915 to detect leaks over greater distances and in more challenging environments.
  • Detection range: With a range of up to 120 meters, the ii915 is significantly more powerful than the ii500, which only has a range of 50 meters. The ii905 has a range of up to 70 meters. This makes the ii905 and ii915 particularly suitable for larger industrial plants where leakage points are often far away or difficult to access.
  • Camera resolution: The view camera of the ii915 and ii905 offers a resolution of 5 megapixels, while the ii500 only has a 0.3 megapixel camera.
  • WLAN and cloud connection: The ii915 and ii905 are equipped with a WLAN function that enables easy integration into the Fluke Connect system. This allows data to be automatically uploaded to the cloud and greatly simplifies collaboration between maintenance teams and decision-makers.
  • LeakQ quantification: All models are equipped with LeakQ technology. However, the ii915 and ii905 offer more accurate estimation of leak rates and costs as well as improved distance measurement.
  • MecQ Mode: MecQ offers preset and customizable frequency bands that allow filtering and capturing dB data in each frequency band.
  • PDQ Mode: The ii915's PDQ Mode translates the sound emitted by the partial discharge into real-time PRPD plots on the screen, allowing you to easily and accurately pinpoint the source location of the partial discharge.
  • Tripod mount: The ii915 and ii905 are equipped with a tripod mount, making them ideal for longer-term and precise measurements in large industrial environments.
