The Extech VFM200 is a compact and highly sensitive measuring device for monitoring volatile organic compounds (VOC) and formaldehyde (HCHO/CH₂O) indoors. It is ideal for use in living spaces, offices, hotels, schools, production facilities and laboratory environments. VOCs are often generated by paints, varnishes, adhesives, furniture, cleaning agents, cigarette smoke, building materials or vehicle emissions - many of which can have a significant impact on indoor air quality. The VFM200 provides a quick and accurate assessment of exposure and is therefore a valuable tool for health and safety assessments.
With its backlit display, the measuring device shows the concentrations of TVOC and formaldehyde simultaneously in real time. Thanks to its fast response time, changes in air quality can be detected immediately. The built-in, high-precision fuel cell formaldehyde sensor ensures reliable measurement results.
The device offers adjustable visual and audible high/low alarms that warn when defined limit values are exceeded. This makes it particularly useful in areas where pollutant limits must be adhered to. The measured values can be displayed in either ppm or mg/m³, which allows flexible adaptation to standards or internal guidelines.
The integrated rechargeable battery enables mobile use, while the universal mains adapter (with international plug attachments) ensures convenient use worldwide. Thanks to its lightweight, portable design, the VFM200 is ideal for regular indoor air checks or quick diagnoses.
