The Chauvin Arnoux Terca 3 is actually a 4 in 1 device and measures earth resistance, specific earth resistance, continuity and earth coupling.

With this ergonomic, complete and high-precision device, all measurements can be set using a rotary switch integrated in the control panel.

The robust and impact-protected CA 6470N is compact and suitable for on-site use.

The connection of the earth electrodes has been simplified by color coding the connection terminals.

The CA 6470N has a backlit LCD display and a rechargeable battery that can be charged using an external charger that is connected to the vehicle's mains or cigarette lighter.

It is equipped with a function for automatic or manual storage of the measured values.

Data can be transferred to a computer for processing with the Ground Tester Transfer software via a USB output.

The Chauvin Arnoux Terca 3 offers measurement accuracy up to 10 times higher thanks to the 4-pole method. With this method, low earth resistances can be measured and it is particularly suitable for industrial users, e.g. B. energy supplier, suitable.

The CA 6470N is guaranteed to deliver reliable measurements:

through the use of classic measuring methods with earth electrodes
through a self-diagnosis before each measurement, in which possible errors (bad connection or interference signals) that can lead to the measurement being falsified are indicated
thanks to large measuring ranges: 0.001 Ω to 100 kΩ
by setting the measuring frequency between 41 Hz and 512 Hz

Calculation functions for experts:

To calculate the earth coupling resistance, the three necessary measurements are simply carried out one after the other and the device automatically calculates the coupling coefficient
to calculate the specific soil resistance. Programming the measuring distances enables automatic calculation of R using the Wenner or Schlumberger method.
