As an integrating class 2 sound level meter in accordance with the IEC 61672-1 standard, the Chauvin Arnoux CA 1310 is the ideal instrument for measuring noise levels in a wide variety of environments:

Checking the permissible noise level in the workplace
Noise measurements on ventilation and air conditioning systems
Acoustics tests in buildings, interference from neighboring noise
Detection of noise pollution

With its large illuminated display with digital display of the sound level, bar graph and date / time of the measurement, the CA1310 offers perfect readability in all lighting conditions. The user-friendly housing sits comfortably in the hand, all functions are accessible via the front panel and it has a tripod thread. The microphone can be removed, a 5 m extension cable is available on request. The power supply by batteries or rechargeable batteries enables 60 hours of mains-independent operation! The device can also be operated on the network via a micro USB connection.

Two types of measurement are possible with the CA 1310: the current sound level measurement (SPL) or the equivalent continuous sound level (Leq). For the Leq measurement, the integration time can be set from 10 seconds to 24 hours. The CA 1310 can store up to 64,000 measured values with a recording interval that can be set in the SETUP menu of the device.

The SL software for PCs is used for real-time monitoring of the measurements, for displaying the measurement data and for data transfer to the PC for evaluation or creation of measurement reports.

The CA 1310 is delivered in a carrying case with a spherical windshield for measurements outdoors.
