050428 | PV3 photovoltaic tester with 1500V to 40A, memory

With the Benning PV 3 photovoltaic tester, you can carry out polarity tests, open circuit voltage and short-circuit current measurements of parallel-connected PV strings during commissioning and repeat tests of grid-connected PV systems, solar parks, power plants and large-scale systems with 1,500 V technology in accordance with VDE 0126-23 (DIN EN 62446).

Connect the Benning PV3 to the Benning Sun 2 (050420) quickly and safely. This automatically saves radiation conditions (W / m2), the temperature of the PV module and the ambient temperature (° C) with each test procedure.

Measurement functions:

  • Polarity check of the PV generator / PV cabling
  • Open circuit voltage measurement for modern 1500 V DC systems
  • Short-circuit current measurement on PV strings up to 40 A DC
  • Optional measurement of solar radiation (W / m2) and PV module / ambient temperature (° C) via BENNING SUN 2 (radio connection)
  • Memory for 999 PV string tests

Features:

  • Automatic test sequence (+/-, Vo / c, Is / c, W / m2, ° C) with reverse polarity protection
  • Powerful short-circuit current measurement, up to 4 x larger reserve than conventional PV testers with 10 A limitation
  • Reduced testing times and dismantling work, since PV strings no longer have to be individually separated and tested one after the other
  • Reduces the risk of failure due to overload when testing PV strings of unknown power
  • Real time clock with date and time stamp per measurement
  • USB interface and download software (CSV format)
  • Large graphic display with backlight
