The user-friendly and affordable Fluke Networks TS100 tester includes three tools in one: a cable fault locator, a cable and wire manager, and a sounder with SmartTone technology.

With the TS 100 Cable Fault Locator, you can easily determine the distance to interruptions or short circuits in electrical cables, telephone cables, safety-related cabling and coaxial cables up to 3,000 feet (915m). The results are presented as distances rather than as a waveform, making them particularly suitable for technicians without knowledge of time domain reflectometry (Time Domain Reflectometery, TDR).

Detect and fix cable problems without pulling new cables or making random wall openings. Intermittent disturbances are easier to find because the meter is constantly taking measurements while it is on.

The TS 100 Cable Fault Locator is ideally suited for inventory management of cable material in trucks and warehouses and can help to create more accurate offers for orders thanks to quick needs assessment and more precise management of the cable material.

The TS 100 cable fault locator with patented SmartTone technology provides 5 different tones for the exact identification of cables and wire pairs, even in the immediate vicinity of live cables.

When the cables are touched and the remote end of a pair of cables is temporarily short-circuited, SmartTone technology changes the test tone output. The correct pair of wires is positively confirmed with the tone change that can be heard via the probe.

The voltage detection in the cable fault locator immediately issues an alarm signal if you accidentally cut into a current-carrying pair with up to 250 V AC voltage.
