The FLIR DM284 thermal imaging multimeter is a professional all-in-one instrument that combines a digital TRMS true rms multimeter with 18 measurement functions and a thermal imaging camera and can point you exactly to the point of the electrical problem for faster fault diagnosis. Using Infrared Guided Measurement (IGM) thermal imaging, the DM284 reliably shows electricians and service technicians the location of temperature anomalies and potential problems.

With the infrared-controlled measurement aid technology IGM (Infrared Guided Measurement) and its integrated FLIR thermal image sensor with a resolution of 160 x 120 pixels, the DM284 visually guides you precisely to the point of the respective electrical problem so that you can identify hot spots faster and more efficiently. With IGM you can check control cabinets, connections and cables from a safe distance without having to touch them. After discovering a problem with IGM, the DM284 can review and confirm the results with its advanced contact measurement capabilities to help you solve the most complex electrical problems.

Ideally suited for on-site troubleshooting in electronic systems, commercial electrical systems, in light industrial environments, during field work and when working on HVAC (heating - ventilation - air conditioning) systems.
