The Tektronix MSO 4B Series oscilloscopes combine performance and analysis capabilities to address most technical challenges with an industry-leading intuitive user interface.
The Tektronix MSO 4B series offers devices with 4 or 6 analog channels. The oscilloscopes have a resolution of 12-bit ADCs (16 bits in high-res mode), which can be expanded to up to 48 digital logic channels (MSO46B) thanks to FlexChannel technology with a logic probe. Analog signals can be displayed as a curve or as a frequency spectrum - both views can also be displayed simultaneously. This makes oscilloscope-based analysis in the frequency domain as easy as with a spectrum analyzer, while maintaining the time reference to other signal events.
The digital channels have the same high real-time sampling rate of up to 6.25 GSa/s for high-precision timing resolutions and the same long recording length (up to 62.5 million points) for long-term acquisitions as the analog channels. The large 13.3-inch color display with touch function and full HD resolution allows you to clearly display many signals and analyzes at the same time. The display of the MSO 4B models has a significantly improved viewing spectrum and a noticeably increased contrast compared to the previous models. This noticeably improves the visibility of the data shown on the display.
You receive the oscilloscopes with bandwidths from 200 MHz to 1.5 GHz, which you can also retrofit later.
Powerful analysis and visualization tools such as FastFrame segmented storage, measurement and waveform histograms, and visual triggering are standard. It is available with an integrated 50 MHz arbitrary/function generator and decoding for over 25 serial protocols. Power analysis packages are also available that enable repeatable measurements on power supplies and 3-phase power converters.
The new "B" version of the Tektronix 4 Series features a significantly faster processor system that accelerates analysis, control and data transfer.
