As a result, the requirements placed on rework systems and their operating personnel are constantly increasing. Qualified hand soldering personnel make a decisive contribution to ensuring product quality.
The seminar provides comprehensive theoretical and practical knowledge in the selection, handling and use of suitable tools and aids for the production of highly reliable hand soldered connections and rework work. The assessment of the results according to IPC standards are essential learning contents. The graduates prove the knowledge they have acquired through a final success check, which is confirmed by the certificate of attendance.

Participation requirement:
Basic knowledge of component science, handling circuit boards and assemblies and the ability to make simple soldered connections using suitable soldering materials, tools and aids is required. To achieve this level of knowledge, we recommend attending our seminar Basics of Electronics Manufacturing (SeminarCode LT 1) beforehand.

- Soldering internship 2 - SMT
Soldering and desoldering SMDs according to IPC methods with function test using a blink processor
- Rework internship with visual inspection according to IPC
On KEINATH exercise module KUB 100 (Chip, SO, MLF, TSOP, TQFP, SQFP, QFP, PLCC) use of different IPC methods on exercise module KUB 100 and customer modules
- Soldering internship 3 - functional part THT and SMT
Production of a 3-tone gong in mixed technology. All soldering internships are carried out using lead-free assemblies and solder. For an intensive internship and individual support, the number of participants is limited to 12 people.
- Success control and evaluation interview
