ZNB20 | Vector Network Analyzer, Gen 2 Series, 100 kHz to 20 GHz, 4 Port, up to 10 MHz (1334.3330.64)

The ZNB vector network analyzers from Rohde and Schwarz combine measurement accuracy with high measurement speed (<5 µs / measurement point) up to 40 GHz. The analyzers impress with their high dynamics (up to 140 dB at 10 Hz analysis bandwidth), their low noise (below 0.004 dB RMS at 10 kHz analysis bandwidth) and their high output power (up to +13 dBm). With a frequency range from 100 kHz to 20 GHz, the ZNB20 vector network analyzer comes, for example, from B. in the communication and electronics industry, for the design verification of digital high-speed circuit boards or for applications in the aerospace industry. It is ideal for the development and production of RF components such as amplifiers, mixers, filters, cables, etc.

All ZNB vector network analyzers are available with two or four ports. For even more complex measurements, the number of doors can be expanded with switching matrices, e.g. B. to characterize RF components for modern communication devices. With a four-port device, for example, two matrices with two entry and 24 exit gates can be combined in order to measure objects with up to 48 gates, e.g. B. Front-end modules for smartphones. The matrix type is recognized and the gate numbers are assigned automatically so that the user can quickly start measuring. S parameters and wave sizes are selected directly via the user interface of the network analyzer.

The 4-port model of the ZNB20 has an additional, independent, internal generator that can be used for e.g. B. can be used as a local oscillator for mixer measurements. Compared to using an external generator, this increases the measurement speed and the measurement setup is considerably simplified.

High dynamics and measurement accuracy for high demands:

  • Performance for demanding HF components: high dynamics up to 140 dB for fast measurement of high blocking test objects, excellent raw data for high basic accuracy and outstanding temperature stability for long calibration intervals
  • Short measurement times for high throughputs in production: fast synthesizers with switching times of less than 10 µs for high sweep rates and fast measurements, high dynamics and optimal IF bandwidths
  • Manual and automatic calibration procedures enable the correct calibration for every measurement application
  • Clear, flat menu structure for simple measuring processes: enables quick work and avoids operating errors

  • Fast (de) embedding and fast impedance matching of DUTs through virtual matching networks
  • Mixed ‑ mode S ‑ parameters for characterizing balanced measurement objects
  • Customize measurement setups using specially defined S parameters
  • Comprehensive evaluation functions for the efficient analysis of measurement curves
  • Amplifier measurements with a large level sweep range and receiver attenuators
  • Time domain analysis for the search for joints and for filter adjustment
