With the Rohde & Schwarz FSH-K47 option, the Rohde & Schwarz FSH is equipped for transmitter measurements at 1xEV-DO base stations. All important parameters are measured, which allow conclusions to be drawn about the power distribution of different code channels and the signal quality. In addition to the overall performance and the ratio of peak performance to average performance, the performance of pilot, MAC and data is measured. The frequency offset of the carrier frequency as well as the EVM value and Rho are also measured and displayed. In this way, transmitter interference such as limits (clipping) or intermodulation can be recognized, which are difficult to detect in the spectrum.

The current network utilization (traffic activity) is also shown. This value indicates whether connection problems or low data rates are caused by high network utilization.
