The Developing Test Programs with TestStand course teaches you how to navigate the TestStand environment with the goal of quickly creating custom test applications. You will learn about the existing TestStand functions in order to use them to create and distribute test sequences to implement a complete test. Techniques to automate execution of sequences depending on your testing needs are explained. You will be introduced to different ways to improve the modularity and reusability of test code. You will also get an introduction to synchronized, parallel tests to improve test throughput, as well as report generation and database logging.

Required prior knowledge

  • Experience working with LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI or the C programming language
  • Recommended courses (depends on your development environment): LabVIEW Core 1, LabWindows/CVI Core 1
