The PXIe-8862 is a high-performance PXI Express embedded controller developed for demanding measurement, test and validation applications. With an 11th generation Intel Core i7-11850HE processor, the controller offers eight cores for maximum multithreading performance and the highest computing loads in parallel test systems. Thanks to a maximum data bandwidth of 16 GB/s, the PXIe-8862 provides twice the bandwidth of the PXIe-8842 and is therefore ideal for environments in which large amounts of data need to be processed and distributed quickly.
The PXIe-8862 supports Windows 10/11 LTSC as well as NI Linux Real-Time and integrates modern security standards such as TPM 2.0, Secure Boot and device encryption. Its seamless compatibility with NI PXI chassis, precise timing and synchronization technology and broad software ecosystem make the controller ideal for production automation, semiconductor validation, RF test and hardware-in-the-loop applications.
