The cRIO-9045 is a rugged, powerful and user-definable embedded controller that includes an Intel Atom dual-core processor, support for NI-DAQmx and an SD slot for data logging and embedded monitoring, control and monitoring. The controller offers precise, deterministic network transmissions with time synchronization using Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN), which is particularly advantageous for decentralized measurements. The controller has several interfaces, including Gigabit Ethernet, USB 3.1, USB 2.0, RS-232 and RS-485. A local human-machine interface can be added via the USB 3.1 ports and software can be programmed, distributed and debugged in order to simplify application development.
