781473-01 | NI PXIe-8431/8, RS485 / 422 serial interface card for PXI Express, 8 ports

The PXIe-8431/8 module is a powerful interface for high-speed communication with RS-485 and RS-422 devices. The module offers data transfers via the high-speed DMA interface, multithreading and multiprocessor support. Users can choose between 4 and 2-wire transceiver modes for full and half-duplex communication. The serial interfaces from NI appear as standard COM ports so that they are compatible with programs that use serial communication.
