N1420A | Setup integrity checker for B2980 series, fixed perpetual license

The software N1420A is an optional software to compare, evaluate and save the noise of a measuring arrangement. This software is very helpful to find the reason for a noise in the measurement setup. The noise contribution of cables, plugs and shielding chambers can thus be quantified. It is very easy to verify how high the noise level of the entire structure is compared to the noise level of a partial structure. In this way, the individual elements in the measuring branch and their contribution to the level can be qualified. The respective result of these comparative measurements is shown in a table on the device display.
