The HT7051 is a professional digital insulation measuring device for measuring insulation resistance with test voltages up to 5 kV DC. The insulation tester is suitable for a wide range of applications in industrial electrical systems such as B. for preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of motors, transformers and electrical cables etc. In programming mode, up to 3 different ramp functions can be selected in addition to the measurement duration. The HT7051 can also be used to determine the polarization index (PI) (decrease in the insulation value due to external influences such as corrosion, dust, grease or moisture). Thanks to this check, the maintenance technician can determine the future quality of the insulation in advance and plan it accordingly. The insulation tester has an internal memory to store the measurement data and an interface for data transfer to the PC.
