Check your test tool without unnecessary shock and arcing. Using the PRV240FS reduces the need for personal protective equipment (PPE) when a known voltage source is not available to check your tester or multimeter before performing tests*. In addition, the PRV240FS provides AC and DC voltages for other HiZ instruments in your toolbox. A single switch and set of LEDs indicate the functionality of the FieldSense voltage measurement function without a test lead and the standard AC and DC measurements with test leads. This device is an easy-to-use solution for TBT checking your test tools. * PPE may still be required if no voltage test was performed. Test Before Touch The Fluke PRV240FS allows you to perform Test Before Touch (TBT), which tests your T6 with a known live source before and after the actual measurement. This sequence checks whether your test tool is working properly during the actual measurement.
