The CA 6416 earthing tongs are used for quick checking of earth loops and are supplied in a transport case. The CA 6416 have a measurement category of 600 V CAT IV and display the touch voltage, with an alarm when the voltage level is dangerous - so the measurements are absolutely safe.
New functions increase user-friendliness, such as the spring force relief to keep the pliers open without any effort, or the new OLED display with a viewing angle of 180 ° under all lighting conditions. The automatic pre-HOLD function when opening the pliers and the automatic air gap calibration when switched on are particularly ergonomic. These points make the grounding tests with the test clamps much easier.
The following measured values appear simultaneously on the display for the earthing testers:
- impedance and leakage current (Ω + A)
- calculated contact voltage
- Indication of the ohmic and inductive part of the grounding impedance.
Finally, the earthing testers also allow the display of the impedance converted to a frequency close to the mains frequency, thus reducing the possible measurement errors to a minimum.
