The PicoScope 5000E series comprises high-resolution PC-based oscilloscopes designed for precise measurements and fast signal analysis. The instruments combine 16-bit resolution with high sampling rates, large memory, and extensive analysis capabilities. Thanks to low inherent noise and a high dynamic range, these oscilloscopes are particularly well-suited for demanding applications in development, research, and industry.
The series offers numerous features such as FFT spectrum analysis, serial protocol decoding, DeepMeasure analysis, Math channels, and integrated function and arbitrary waveform generators. The Plus models in the series extend the classic 16-bit architecture with a powerful 8-bit mode featuring higher bandwidth, higher sampling rate, and double the memory. This allows both high-precision and very fast signal waveforms to be analyzed with a single device.
Differences from the other variants
The PicoScope 5463E+ combines high-precision 16-bit measurements with an additional 8-bit high-speed mode. In 16-bit mode, the instrument offers a bandwidth of 100 MHz, while in 8-bit mode, bandwidths up to 350 MHz and sampling rates up to 5 GS/s are possible. This makes the model particularly suitable for developers who want to analyze both precise analog signals and fast digital or near-RF signals.
Compared to the 5462E+, the 5463E+ offers higher bandwidth in both 16-bit and 8-bit modes. However, the maximum bandwidth is lower than that of the 5464E+. Like all Plus models, the device features expanded memory and the additional 8-bit high-speed mode.
