The PicoScope 5000E series comprises high-resolution PC-based oscilloscopes designed for precise measurements and fast signal analysis. The instruments combine 16-bit resolution with high sampling rates, large memory, and extensive analysis capabilities. Thanks to low inherent noise and a high dynamic range, these oscilloscopes are particularly well-suited for demanding applications in development, embedded systems, automotive, research, and industry.
The series offers extensive trigger functions, FFT spectrum analysis, DeepMeasure analysis, serial protocol decoding, and integrated function and arbitrary waveform generators. The Plus models complement the high-resolution 16-bit technology with a powerful 8-bit mode featuring higher bandwidth, higher sampling rates, and larger memory. The MSO variants also expand the devices with 16 digital channels for mixed-signal applications.
Differences from the other variants
The PicoScope 5463E+ MSO combines high-resolution 16-bit measurement technology with an additional 8-bit high-speed mode and integrated digital channels. The device features four analog inputs and 16 digital MSO channels for simultaneous analysis of analog and digital signals.
In 16-bit mode, the model offers a bandwidth of 100 MHz for high-precision measurements. Additionally, an 8-bit mode with up to 350 MHz bandwidth and up to 5 GS/s sampling rate is available. Compared to the 5462E+ MSO, the device offers higher bandwidth in 16-bit and 8-bit modes. Compared to the 5464E+ MSO, the maximum bandwidth is lower. The model is ideal for developers and engineers who want to perform both precise analog measurements and fast mixed-signal analyses.
